Supporting Nevada’s Future Professionals
Objective
The BeHERE Trainee Fund is designed to assist pre- and post-graduation trainees who are pursuing licensure or certification in Nevada. BeHERE NV recognizes the need to support and increase the number of behavioral health professionals in Nevada by reducing financial barriers to achieving full licensure or certification. Through this fund, we hope to offset the costs (up to $1,000) of:
- Licensure/certification exam preparation materials
- Exam registration fees
- Nevada licensing/certification board fees
- Note: *Expenses must have been incurred/purchased between July 2026 and September 2026*
Eligibility
Applicants will be accepted from trainees who are:
- Current undergraduate/graduate student of a behavioral health program OR current postgraduate intern/fellow in a behavioral health profession;
- Currently residing in Nevada;
- Planning to practice in Nevada; and
- HAVE NOT received prior funding from BeHERE in the past two years
- To align with BeHERE NV’s mission, priority will be given to students and interns dedicated to serving Nevada in their professional careers
- If selected, applicants must be able to provide proof of purchase
Deadline: Applications DUE October 16, 2026
If you are awarded
The distribution of funds for this award follows a reimbursement process. BeHERE NV will provide guidance on any additional forms that need to be completed to finalize your request and process your reimbursement. To receive funding, you will be asked to submit proof of payment for eligible expenses outlined in your application that were purchased between July 2026 and September 2026. Once BeHERE NV receives the necessary information, a single reimbursement payment will be processed.
Application Deadline
Applications for the Trainee Fund will be accepted until October 16, 2026.
